good for fuge but can grow out of control in a display
I'm not sure how well it would work for nutrient export. Apparently it's palatable to a variety of fish. Does well with warm lighting; its usually found in shallow waters.
Hard to ship (I want some!) due to it being fragile; the best way is to get it attached to rock.
Easy enough to control by hand or fish in display tank. It likes strong water flow and stable chemistry (who doesn't?)
It's a brown algae; found as white, yellow and pale brown, can also come with some iridescent green/blue I'm told.
