I'm building a new tank and it will have an internal weir. i will be painting the back of tank but there will be sections of the coast to coast weir that will be clear and exposed to the water. can i paint these with krylon fusion and let the water come in contact with these areas?
this probably sounds confusing, so i'll ask this, in therory would it be ok to paint the inside of your back glass with krylon fusion? once cured would the paint be ok in the water?

Krylon fusion is fine, once dried, to use inside the tank. A buddy and I built overflow covers out of acrylic for my 125g tank. I painted them with black krylon fusion. Never had any issues in the 3 years the tank was up and running. Hope this helps.

Sorry to bring up an old thread.

Did you paint the inside or outside of the covers? If you painted the outside, we're you able to scrape it clean?
