passive percula

I just added a baby ocellaris for my percula, which is about 1/3 the size of my percula...and normally, my percula would tear any clown I put into the tank apart; but this time, he's just ignoring it. no pairing-up dance, no aggresion, nothing. just ignoring. she did seem to follow the little guy around alittle but it was more like she was protecting him or something. After the lights were out, the ocellaris was sleeping on the sandbed in the corner, and the percula was sleeping in her usual home.

why is she ignoring him completely? do you think they would pair up eventually?

It just depends on the fish. It might take a month or 6 months. More than likely, it will take a month or less but you know this hobby takes patience so buyer beware!
