Pavona maldivensis

Anyone seen any of these come in? I only know of one coming in, a portion of which is shown below. Not looking to acquire any other pieces (although I am easily swayed!) mostly looking to see if this coral has been showing up.

ya, almost looks like a closed gonipora with pink tips that are spread apart

now there is a decent amount of polyp extension, not great but some. What colors have you seen come in?

i've seen green, and light purple. i've seen that bright yellow too, but it is dyed that way. beware of anything that is neon yellow, especially pavona and hairy mushrooms. yours sort of looks like the purple i've seen, but not with the pink polyps. very nice

Only things I've see with the NEON yellow look in recent years has been Turbinaria sp and Sinularia. Dyed of course.

yup, and i'v seen the hairy mushrooms. so nice until they turn bright white in two weeks
