Peacock Mantis

Would a 12 gallon acrylic eclipse tank be a suitable setup for a single Peacock Mantis shrimp. It would be housed alone with 6 lbs. of live rock, live sand 4 inches deep, with an integrated carbon eclipse hood style aerated water filter, any feed back would be appreciated.

Thanks

i have a smasher in a 12 eclipse and he is doing extremely well. i am also running a 4-5" livesand bed . i only have a couple of pounds of live rock but plan to get about 10 more pounds. the stock filter is marginal to good at best for a mechanical/chemical filter and i find it very hard to put faith in a little wheel for biological filtration, so hopefully the extra liverock and skimmer will do their respective jobs. i plan to use a small hang on the back skimmer and, depending what other lifeforms go into the tank, the stock filter will be comming out and another powerhead will go in for circulation. this will also free up some space under the hood for more retro-lighting. don't know if i answered anything, but that's the set-up that's working for me. good luck!
