perfered salinity for sps

I shoot for 1.026 or 53 mv. I do on my lion fish/softie tank as well. Why people keep them in a different salinity than they've spent thousands of years at I don't know.

how come high?

Cheaper on salt; most LFS keep fish at this range because of the volume of water+salt they need for the whole system.

Stores that carry corals usually have them separated to the fish tanks, and they run the salinity higher.

1.025 and 1.026 as well (refractometer) @ 78-80 degrees
