Pets Playhouse in CR....

Slave to the reef!
So i went down and checked out Pets Playhouse in CR on saturday. Its been years since ive been there, hes working on getting a good size saltwater setup for sure. I got a foxface and a blenny. The foxface starting chowing caulerpa instantly which was a good sign. The blenny ended up carpet surfing, my hawkfish was chasing him around pretty bad, and i think he ate my royal gramma and sixline wrasse.......hes been looking pretty fat lately.

I have a red tipped green bta, if you're interested. I'll be headed through that way dec 26.

I went there today, I was hoping to bring home some chromis or a blue tang but they didn't have any chromis and all the blue tangs looked infected. Nice to see they are adding on to the SW though.

You might want to check Sea of Marvel... I bought my blue tang from Hung and I haven't had any trouble with it. It's been a voracious eater since day 1.

Bought my blue hippo from hung about 3 weeks ago. He had about 30 of them there when I bought mine.

Hung had a lot of nice looking ones when I was there last time... but $60 for a small is a little pricey. I wonder if he will haggle?

Well my lawnmower blenny i got saturday jumped and died, now my foxface is MIA. I kinda tore the tank apart looking for him but no luck......having some bad luck with fish lately, atleast the coral is doing well.

I currently have my CA reactor tunred waaaay down cause im trying to get the ph up to 8.2 or so. Its usually right at 8 then goes down to around 7.8 at night.

I noticed the foxface and yellow tang were fighting a little, i guess the tang won. Weird i cant find that fish though, i found the blenny he landed on the lid of a bucket of salt.
