Help my PH in my tank is 8.7 too too high how I can put this lower is anything ?? diffrent then change a water??

Marcin,

Assuming that number is accurate and your corals (SPS specifically) are sliming, you can lower pH by adding white vinegar to the tank, a teaspoon full at a time. Don't over do it, as it will bring it down quite a bit. Maybe 2 tsp for that 90g.

Your skimmer won't have any effect on this. White vinegar is safe to use, and can be used when cleaning equipment, pumps, and even a tank if you had to start over and wanted all of the walls cleaned up like new again.

It is available at any grocery store. Just don't overdo it at this point. If you can get the pH to 8.4, that's good enough.

What caused it to rise so high in the first place? Did you dose baking soda or pH buffer?

Your PH shouldnt be this high without some reason.

Have you dosed anything unusual lately like medication etc.

What do you use to buffer KH normally?

If you buffer KH, you wont need to buffer PH.
