Yeah if I went out of town a lot I would feel safer with a PLC system. So far though the only problems I've had were errors in my code, a patched winxp system is pretty stable these days.

I agree Slug, many of my most hard to find bugs have been stupid software code. When I first started debuging my seasonal routines it was almost like I forgot how to count.

It has a 4-20ma output, so any daq that can read this it will work for. Also, you could use a resistor to get volts out if that was all your daq can read.
