So the gel is actually the gel leaked from the probe?
Or the bacteria gel built around the leak?


I normally don't put pictures in threads/posts, but I kinda knew that the gel wasn't something very commonly discussed.

Bacterial gel (polysaccharides) built around the junction/leak would be my SWAG. Good luck with your electrodes, I order mine directly from China.

That yellow pH probe was the only one I ever had such external gel formation.
