is it possible to tinker with a phosban reactor and make it a calcium reactor? like make it run on a eheim pump, have it return to the pump, etc.? it could save money.
but if you could link the Co2 to the output of the pump going into the chamber, would that work? you could hook up a bubble counter and all next to it.
A calcium reactor is just a vessel where CO2 is mixed with the water and ran through a media. Any type of vessel will work. House water filter canisters, PVC pipe, jugs and jars, and your phosban reactor.
You just need to design a recirculation system, inject the CO2 in a pipe before the pump, the pump chops up the co2 bubble and mixes it with the water. Then you need an infeed tube coming from your tank and an out feed going back. VIOLA. easy breezy.
