Im woundering what level is dangerous level for fish or coral? I never really tested for it but im setting up a new tank and wasnt sure what came with the dry rock I got so i wanted to test the water for anything that might show up with new rock. the LFS said my phosphates where 0.32 is that dangerous?

For stony corals, 0.03 ppm is a reasonable target. Many hobbyist measuring kits and devices don't seem to be particularly reliable at that level, though, so watching your corals is a good idea, too.

In my opinion the best test kit out is the Hanna 736. You want phosphates below .05 anything about and corals especially sps don't like and you can have algea issues
