Photobucket stopped working...now what?

So Photobucket stopped allowing 3rd party hosting for free. All my threads now have no pictures, unless I pay PB $400 a year, no thanks.
I'm looking for a new photo hosting service that allows me to upload photos and then embed them on my threads. I've tried messing with flickr and imgur, but I don't think they work like PB. On PB I could upload a pic and it would give me an IMG code I could easily copy and paste to any forum, and my picture would show.

Any suggestions???
 
I can't help you with all your posts with missing pictures. I can tell you that I wish that kind of thing never happened. Just consider how many threads will now be littered with missing pix, and the information in them that is now lost forever...
Anyhow, I've always used Snapfish, but to be honest, I don't remember when I last logged in, and I'm a bit worried right now about what may not be there anymore.
There's also Smugmug. It was started by a member here, but again, it may or may not be alive now.
 
Tapatalk works good for me, you can even copy the direct link and share on any forum. Or you can buy your own host service for a fraction as to what PB charges.

I've been utilizing the feature imbedded within Tapatalk to upload my pics of late.

Really dumb on PB's part to pull a stunt like this.

Your saying just use Tapatalk to upload pics. Like this ...

I used to post pics using tapatalk, but I would get people complaining that if they were on a PC, they couldn't view the pictures.

I'm really bummed about losing all my pics, I never thought PB would do something like that. If anything, they should have grandfathered all the old pics, and only required you pay for their service for any new pictures.
Someone recommended smugmug, maybe I'll try that. I know you have to pay, but it may be worth it.

I'm on a PC and can see your pic!! PB got me also so I started to save all my pictures on PC for now.. Ok so how does this tapatalk works?? And will the pics resize automatic??

Ok well back to tapatalk uploading then. When you upload the pics via tapatalk, it asks you what size you want to upload the pic at.

I normally would upload new pics to PB, then click each image and copy and paste the IMG code. So tapatalk is def more convenient.
How does the quality of the pic look that I uploaded? Is it super grainy?
 
I use smugmug primarily. It's like $60/year but at least I know all my pics are being backed up.

How easily does it work? Can you use the mobile app to upload pics, and easily find the IMG code to post the forums?

I think I might try it out. $60/year is nothing. PB wants $400. No thanks.
 
I downloaded app on my iPad and registered but how do I post? It doesn't take me to SoCal reefers to see threads theatre posted. Like I said, tech illiterate and very confused
