photocell light question

I have a 7095 hooked up to two 6000. My photocell light doesn't seem to work properly. I have the controller set with the night mode and moon light buttons on. The light will come on for the first night when the lights are off but then the following days the photocell light remains off. Any ideas?

Are you sure it isn't just dimmer? They do dim through a lunar cycle. Are the pumps still going into night mode at night?

The night mode is working with the pumps. The light has come on once in the last week and when it did it was at a 100% brightness. The other nights it was completely off and there is no dim at all. Everything has been working perfect for 8 months up until the last month. If I reset the moon light button the light will work that first night and then it goes off the following nights. Any ideas?

I have seen one where the cable got pulled, their are four hair thin wires inside and it doesn't take much to break them, short of that the resistance is increased from water damage, maybe the photocell isn't well sealed.
