this is my first sw tank ever...i'm so excited...it's all slowly coming together...

Looks very good. You may want to get the damsel out of there as they can get pretty aggressive with most other fish. You also may want to look into some Hydor Koralia Nanos for some extra flow. I'm sure your fish and corals will appreciate it.

yea...the rio powerhead doesn't do too much...i'm probably going to get a koralia soon...i'm already having problems with the damsel...i jus added 2 clowns that aren't pictured and it's picking at them...do the lfs usuallly take them back?

Most LFS won't turn away a fish, but you may not be able to get any credit for it. If you bought it recently (within the past couple weeks) you should be able to just return it and say it's not compatible with your other fish. I've done this a couple times, and as long as the fish is in good health most LFS won't mind.

That tank looks pristine! I can't believe that it's your first tank and it's only 2 months old. Obviously, you have done your research and are doing things right, good job. I would put a Tunze 6025 in there over a Koralia, though, for sure.

thanks...i can't take all the credit...i got the live rock off of craigslist and it's been established for a year...i'll check into the powerhead for sure tho...thanks aslavatortin

In one of the back corners, either in the top pointing down or the bottom pointing up. You will have to play around with the direction to maximize flow without causing the sand to blow around. I had a 26.5g bowfront with a Tunze 6025 in each lower back corner pointed ~45 degrees upwards and directly aimed towards the front glass to create a sweep across the bow. You will be amazed at how much water those little things can move.
