And he has been in the same tank with my sick corals since Saturday. No signs of illness and eats like a pig.

Lookin good!, You feeding him silversides? and if so how big of pieces so Ill have an idea. I just purchased an "aussie" elegance today in fact so should arrive on Friday. I ended up getting an updated picture of it and it was not swollen one bit and the tentacles appeared to be about 3 inches long with I would say a descent thickness to them. Was a lot of pinkish/brown with green along the edges. The oral disk wasnt swollen either so with a little hope maybe I found a keeper as well. Ill post some pics on friday after I acclimate him. I did read your thread on them and found it quite intriguing. My only concern is I have them 10k bulbs on the tank. The good news their over a year old now and I am hoping the PAR isnt as harsh as they would be brand new. I only run them 3 hours a day. Seems thats what all the corals I have need them on for and the rest of the time I have actinics on for 8 hours. I am not sure if I caught your lighting setup so would be happy to hear. I did read that you said to go with the higher kelvin. Alright well good luck, talk to ya soon. Kinda rare for me since Im one of the folks on here who lurk and just read so I really dont post very often haha.

I switch out between krill and silver sides. I feed them small pieces about 1/4 of an inch. I give them about 3 pieces at a time. One on one end, one in the middle, and one on the other end. I do this about twice a week in the beginning. Then about once a week after they have settled in. The Aussie Elegance may be able to withstand brighter lights than the Indo Elegances we normally get. I would still start out in a dimly lit area of the tank and slowly move it to where you want it to stay.
