Pink / flourescent orange capricornis; how do you keep it BRIGHT colored?

I just bought a frag of one the other day. What are your successes in keeping it bright pink / flourescent orange without it fading to just plain orange?

What are your alkalinity and calcium levels?

Do you use phosphate reducing media?

What lights do you use?
