pink spotted watchman w/ no sand

I'm going to remove the sand from my tank with the exception a small portion for my wrasse, do you think my pink spotted watchman will be ok? i feed every day due to my chromis..

I may end up adding sand again in a month (going with a thicker grain, right now i have powder) but I may not.. gotta see how I like BB first..


any input would be appreciated
