pinpoint ORP controller and ozone

Ive just hooked up my pinpoint orp controller and will set up my ozone generator this weekend. I want to be between 350 and 400 mv but right now my ORP reads only 130!. Its rising very slowly though. Is it possible it is really that low?/ and when I start adding ozone do I need to do it slowly as to not shock the tank. I have range set between 360 and 400 for those familiar with the pinpoint controller

yep 130 is regular. Thats what mine was when I hooked up my orp controller. I keep it at 370 to be safe. When you feed or put your hands in the tank it will drop

ok. thanks. should I raise to my desired lever slowly or just crank it right up??.. Pelagic, where in FL are you?

Like everything else doing it slowly will probably be best. It may take a few days to a week for the controller to read steady too. I live in jax but I am always in clearwater/safety harbor
