If you can, grab the snail and put it in a small Tupperware container full of water. Take some more pictures of it. (different angles)

Looks like a bristle worm to me. Mixed reviews but typically fine. I have tons in my tank
Okay so I got split off into two pages as a result of technical difficulties, here's the original post with pic:
I'm very new to this, and I saw someone post a similar pic but didn't see a response, it's the only thing living in my newly set up aquarium, I purchased it used with lots of dried live rock so this must have come in on some "living" LR I purchased from big al's to help seed. Not sure if it needs to go or not, and if so, how. FYI I'm planning on adding fish in about 2 weeks and coral later on down the road after everything is settled.
