Thanks. I love Blyxa, it's one of my favorites.

I was in the process of designing a 180 tank with Tom's tank (the one I posted above) as inspiration when my daughter decided she wants Nemo. That's how I ended up here researching reef tanks.

Keep that 180 for a Tom inspired tank. If this is only about a Nemo for your daughter, get her a nanocube lol

Well, I hadn't bought the tank yet. I was still researching equipment. I was about to buy steel for the stand when my wife and daughter changed my mind for me. I'll build it down the road when we buy a house. For now, in a townhouse, we only have room for one tank.

Low tech CRS tank. CFL bulbs for light, ADA substrate, no CO2, ferts, work. Just did water changes and everything worked perfectly. I had a translucent white background for it, but never got around to installing it.

nice CRS. I quickly realized that CRS did not like too much co2. A lot more finnicky about it than your regular RCS/Yellows. I was able to breed all the way up to SSS and got some PLR's in to the mix, and one day, I got a bad batch of water from my local water source and wiped out over 300 shrimp. Devastation :sad2:
