the LFS has a really nice white one for over 1 month and is doing very well

if its white then chances are its bleached or its actually skeleton, and you shouldnt get it.

Plate corals areegenerally easy to keep if they are resting on sand, thisone however is probably 95-100% dead, don't buy it, maybe ask them to add a fresh one to the next order.

yes that sounds like the one only has dark red tips
