Please help ID Brown Polyp about 6 petals with white centre

Hi looking for assistance in identifying this type of small brown polyp...

It spreads across the rocks, along the substrate...and also up the sides of the tank. At night it closes up....and all you see are the dots....it seems to spread like ivy.

It looks like Xenia. They are fast growing and spread like weeds. I don't know how u would get rid of then though other than getting rid of the rock.

Thanks guys.I know it is not Xenia...clove polyps is possible dos anyone have pics of clove polyps to compare...this stuff spreads quite a bit in lighted areas...it does not grow in shaded areas..thx

daisy polyps, small cloves. Atleast it's not the blue daisy polyps. These will be able to be kept in check.

I have daisy polyps that are spreading.can I just cut off the ones I don't want?or do I have to do something about the runners too?.

Thanks Rogersb...yep Daisy Polyps it is...anyone have any strategies for control ?..mine have spread quite a bit over rocks. They do not do well in shaded areas....
