Please help identify

Hi! I need a little help identifying my new pet. I got it at the LFS about a week ago. I thought it was a bimac at the time, because I thought I saw two dark eyespots. But I haven't seen them since I've had it home. It's a very active octo, dark mottled brown with yellow around the eyes. Suckers are all edged in red/orange. It's mantle is about the size of a small lemon, and tentacles are about 10" long, except for the one that is missing (hence its name: stumpy). I'll try to attach some pics. Any help would be appreciated.

Pics are too blurry to tell but it looks like a bimac. It should have false eye spots below its real eyes.

Are the eyespots there all the time, or do they come and go?

They are there all the time. However, thier brightness will fade in and out depending on mood.

I just made it mad (I moved a rock because I couldn't find it), and the eyspots are out in full force, so I guess it is a bimac. Thanks! Now, to determine gender......
