Please help with halide ideas for aesthetics

Like the title says, Im looking for ideas on Halides for pure aesthetic. Preferably something low wattage. I switched to T5's and miss the shimmer. Is there a NON aquarium type halide I could try??? Any recommendations? Needs to be retrofit kind of thing or small fixture.

Any ideas would be great!

Any ideas? Maybe something not used for aquariums that I can change the bulbs?

I think if you did find anything it would be wash out by the t5's anyways.

Really? I guess that could happen.

Its a simple lagoon style reef though with only some softies and mostly macro algae...6' tank but only 20" deep. 4x80watt T5's...so not a huge amount of light to begin with.

This would really just be used for about 3-4 hours a day when Im home and usually viewing the tank.

The only thing I heard people have been using is white LEDs.

What kind of spotlight are you talking about?
