Please identify!! I believe it killed my torch overnight!!!

What is this? My touch was just fine then the next day it's basically dead... I notice tho living close to it... Worm? Coral stinging? Plant? Please help! Is it good or bad? I'm going to try to post a video and pics! It seems to move like a worm but has a central location!

Torch corals are hard corals and requir a little extra care compared to softies, zoas, and mushrooms. It's possible it just wasn't in the right hands and melted as a result. I've had a frogspawn branch melt shortly after getting it while the other branches are growing.

Google "Spaghetti worm" see if it's a match. They're harmless btw.
