Please just a quick bulkhead question.

have a new bulk head for a project. the gasket it came with has two diff sides, one with 2ribs going around, and a flat side. i know it goes in the wet side, but which of the sides goes against the bucket?

does no matter much. the ribs should go toward the more iregular surface

any seconds on that. doesnt matter? i already cut out the hole just waiting to put in the washer
