Please take a look, don't know what these Red "Balls" are!

I haven't taken a close look at the tank in a few days, and today when I did, I saw a small mass of about 12 Red Balls, or eggs. They are not stuck to the rock, but are suspended in a little cave area by a mucous type substance. The photos did not turn out all that well, but if anybody is able to see and figure out what they are, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

The Red Balls/Eggs are just to the left of the Anemone, set back just a bit in that cave area.

It's really had to tell. There is a kind of mushroom (has the looks of an anemone) called Corallimorph Pseudocorynactis. It can have clear tentacles and orange balls at the tips. Maybe that is what you are seeing.

Ok...May be...after reading your post I took an even closer look. It does actually look as though each ball is at the end of a translucent "tentacle". Is this a pest mushroom or not something to worry about?

They do reproduce readily if given the condition they like best. That might not be a good thing for most people because like anemones these mushrooms can sting other coral. Still, some people go to the effort of collecting them. They are really very beautiful.

Thank you for your help. Would you know if it is safe to move it? Or does it like the shadow where it is?
