I want / need to build a ramp for some Lord Frags. I went to Home Depot and Lowes today looking for Aquamend. Neither had it or I could not find it. I looked in the plumbing section and caulk section. Can someone tell me where I can get some or a similar Reef Safe epoxy to build my ramps? Thanks!

Out here in CA Lowes does not carry it but Home Depot does. It's usually in a small section of adhesives located at or near the paint department. The package is blue-green color.

It's in a tube, they usually only have the short tube, but you might get lucky and find the bigger size. Here's a couple tips on using it:

It's a 2-part epoxy, pinch some off and mix together by hand (wear latex gloves if you want a little will stick to you and can get on other things you touch) until it is all white. Then you have about 15 mins to use it.

By itself it isn't very sticky and takes a little getting used to. I almost always make a sandwich using aquamend and superglue gel.

Superglue Gel
Aquamend Blob
Superglue Gel
Frag

Or if you are just using it to make a smooth transition for frags that are already mounted then I would just put some superglue gel on the side that you intend to stick to the rock.

Just my .02, experiences will vary ;)
