Plenum

Menard, how this look for my plenum? I think I've got enough spacers to hold it up. Should have the rest of the substrate I need by Monday to cover it up.

Don't you have to cover that with a sheet of nylon screening, so the substrate doesn't fall through? I considered one but went w/a DSB instead.

Jeni, yes, I'll be covering it with fiberglass window screen.
It will be a deep bed too, but not just sand.
I won't have all the substrate I need til next week and will post more pics then.

Now, are u gonna put some sand dwelling fish into that tank ? The reason I asked coz U can apply one last screen just beneat the top layer and the fish wont be able to disturb the bottom.
Pointers..........do not cover the plenum w/ LR, let it breath. U dont need a lot of LR w/ this method. Beter for making cool aquascaping.................................PEACE

Thanks, Menard. Not sure about fish, so I will put one more screen in case some wrasses end up in the tank.
