I just went to store and got my pvc

1. I am useing 1" sch 40 for the drain

2.I bought 1/2" sch 40 for return this had same id as pump outlet is this right

3. I am thinking of having the hob overflow in center with a t in the return line and a return outlet on each side of the overflow. Is this a good idea or not

4. I also have 3/4" locline does anyone have 1/2" they want to trade for

You would be better served to use a larger diameter pipe on the return (less drag). 3/4" or 1" would be much better.

Multiple outlets into the tank on the return line is a good idea.

I would definitely use at least 3/4 on the return. Even if you have to switch to 1/2" at the bulkheads, and pump. You will still get more flow.

I am sure they will at least exchange it for you:D 3/4" is the smallest I would go as well for the returns. Logik gave you good advice.
