Pool Party at Nook's House!! Thursday, August 16th

Well, I bought a new thermostat that I could access with my iPhone, track usage daily, provides monthly reports and automatically learns my habits. Worked great for 2 months. Last weekend it failed and had voltage shorted to the w2 terminal which ran the ac and all the heating elements at the same time. This caused 100 degree heat to flow from my vents to the house for hours and the tank over heated. I am now looking for a chiller for back up.

That sucks. Just curious, who makes that thermostat? After trying several brands without much success over the years I won't go with anything other than Honeywell now.
