Powerhead for a 20g long

I've got a Turbelle electronic on a larger tank and love it.

Putting together a 20g long nano (30"x12"x12"), I'd like to use a Turbelle electronic with it; assuming full speed is too much flow, I could use a singlecontroller to turn it down.

Sound like a good idea?

Furthermore, I'd like to anemone-proof the system by spreading the intake around. Could you imagine using the 1670 Refillable cartridge (with or without media) to prevent anemone intake?

Either that, or the 1001.8 T-piece and some long strainers...

I would use the T piece, I could see using the 7200/2 but if possible wait a month and see.
