Well it really has to do with what you intend on putting in the tank .... fish do not need much.. Corals like LPS do not need as much as SPS corals.... So let me know what you intend on keeping in the tank....

:lol: Please don't take offense to this..... "BUT" ... You have not cleared things up too awfully much..... All I can tell you is this: An Anemone will require a fair amount of flow and "VERY" good water quality as well as light to thrive and survive.... "ALL" anemones need good strong lighting to maintain the symbiotic algae that lives in their tissues.... That is where they get most of their nurishment.... Supplimental feedings with things like brine shrimp or other meaty foods will be required to maintain good health....
By "some corals" , you don't say: "What kind" of corals you plan to keep.... LPS corals "in most cases" do not require as much flow as SPS corals ( which require alot more flow as well as high lighting ) to thrive...
You really need to be more specific in what you plan on keeping in this tank of yours to get better advice....

In any case, I would not suggest putting an anemone in a 20gal tank. If you chose to do so, I would suggest a couple of Maxjet powerheads with Hydor deflectors to provide alternating flow... You will also need to provide good lighting ....

i have a 25 gallon tanks and i would like a RBTA the second one i frogot to put the r in front of bta. what i would like to know is how much flow and how many powerheads i need. im sorry if my posts were confusing. also i have mh and a skimmer and good water for this anemone. i also dont know how you got 20 gallon tank i think i wrote 25. thank you for any help puffer21

My bad... you did say 25gal .. And I've already told you what kind of powerheads I'd use.... Tunze streams would be way too much for a 25gal tank..... Two perhaps three MaxJet 1200's with hydor deflectors would be better....

Hydor reflectors mount onto the Maxi-Jets and with the backpressure from the pump spin 360 degrees. You can find them at many stores, also Maxi-Jet 1200's sound good, or you can even do the Maxi-Jet mod. This includes cutting off the outlet and drilling holes in the casing to draw in more water.
