Would you buy salt water from your local aquatics shop? My local offers two types of ready mixed salt water.
I would start mixing your own, that way you know exactly what's going in. Some times the fish stores won't change the filters in a timely manner, sometimes they mix a little light on the salt, never cleaning the mixing containers..... lots of reasons

Ok. I might have to re think then. Would buying RO and mixing the salt myself be better?
in my mind there are a few advantages.
1. It's cheaper to make it vs. Buy it.
2. You know the exact salinity for sure when you make it yourself.
3. You know the quality of the rodi water going into the mix, so your tds readings are for known salt only.
4. You avoid the temptation of walking through the pet store.
5. If you need to do an emergency water change for any reason, you can actually make it on the spot in a pinch.
6. You can keep a water change's worth of water on hand so it's well aged before going into your tank.
7. You can keep your ato topped off easily with your own rodi water.
