Everything is within specs, the only thing that may have changed is my flow, but only recently. I re-directed my Tunzes and added a MJmod. But the coral was like this before. Anyone ever seen this before? Its not just this colony, there are 2 others with it but I wasn't able to get good pics.

I've been having this problem also with an A.yongie (green slimer) seems like yours is a stag acro too. IDK what to tell ya man, I'm hoping it;s just going to spring a butload of branches off from that knuckle.

In my case the knuckle is a little whiter than I'm really comfortable with, I've heard people refer to this as burn tip's said to be caused by high alk, but it's only on the one coral I have it on and my dkh is steady around 8.

In your case, I would guestimate that flow has something to do with it, it often times does.

cheers,
andy

The tips are about to throw off multiple branches. Update pics in 2 months needed, please.

Agreed, I have a blue acro that does this continuously. I was a bit freaked out when i first saw it. About three weeks later I could see the formation of about 3 branches... Don't adjust anything, its a good thing and obviously likes the current setup!
