problem with beckett skimmer

Hi all,
I have just bought a diy skimmer of another reefer the problem I am haveing is, the Beckett is producing very fine bubbles, but some are getting trapped under the top of the box, and when they get big enough
they burb up to the top. Do you have any ideas on how I can fix this?

Make sure the skimmer is level, if it is tilted away from the side with the large part of the box this will happen. If that does not fix it, tilt the skimmer toward the flat part of the box so no air can be trapped there, it will just slide up (From the air's POV) into the skimmer tube.

Thank-you I will try that, it is a little bit out of level.
Although it still isnt working how Id like it.
