Problem with clam

One of my clam seems to have problem. Seeking for expert advice here. First picture below, lower half of the mantle is not expanding. Anyone have any idea? I have two clams, the other one looks fine as in the second picture. I got these two clams for a week. The problem one is on the rock half way in my tank. The OK one is on the substrate. Water par. seems to be OK. Thanks for any advice.

I saw that happen with one of mine when something was irritating its mantle. In my case it was a tiny aiptasia anemone growing on the shell close to the mantle.

The 1st picture looks like the clams is really reaching for come light.
