Problem with my refugium

I'm running a medium cpr aquafuge with a mj-600 and 25w clf 6500k bulb on my 24g aquapod. The problem is that I keep getting cyano on top of the cheato and when ever I rotate the ball of cheato tons on crap shakes off of it. I recently clean the entire refugium and added a mini-jet 400, yet I haven't seen any improvement.

Sounds to me like you are still cycling. How long have you been up and running?

Try increasing the flow through the fuge.
