problem with stream 6080

Somehow my 6080 stream seems to only be working in reverse - I removed the stream to clean it and then tested it in a bucket of water and the flow is only coming out of the sides. Any ideas? It has been in use for approximately 9 months with cleanings about every 1-2 months.

Either the brakes are damaged or worn or the collar at the top right under the prop is loose. This happens when the brakes are not properly engaging. Did you just use it running continuously? It is also possible that in cleaning you lost the red o ring at the bottom of the drive unit so the parts don't line up correctly. The brakes have a specific area they have to engage in to stop the drive unit and correct the rotation.

It was run continuosly - just noticed yesterday that flow was not coming out the front. The large red o-ring that meets with the outside protection screen is still there, but I do not see any other red o - rings. Do you think it needs repair? If so, can you provide me the info needed to repair.

There is a red o-ring inside the pump, it is at the very bottom under the impeller. Check that. Also check that the collar at the top is firmly in place.

Somehow that red o ring is no longer there - The impeller does seem to be sliding out a bit after running in reverse. Can I get a replacement impeller or o ring?

I can send you a new o ring. I will also include a pair of brake shoes and lower and upper bearing and these should solve the problem. PM me an address.
