Protein Skimmer - I'm at my wits end!

PLEASE HELP

I've been researching Protein Skimmers for days and seem to be getting nowhere near to deciding which one to buy!

I'm setting up a new 55g FOWLR.

I'm looking for a low cost (but not cheap and shoddy) Protein skimmer, preferably discreet, as it's not for a sump (therefore require hang on/external model) and I dont want it taking any disctraction from the tank.

Any advice is more than welcomed please!

(Another thing not helping is that here in the UK we seem to be limited to model availability)

The AC Remora Pro has a pretty good following. Good for a tank your size.

Check on the for sale boards and see if one of the blokes will ship it to you. Another option is that you could pay for it, have it shipped to me and I will immediately ship it to you and state that it is a gift, that way you avoid taxes. I have done it for another guy who used to live in Australia. PM me if you want to do it. I am reputable, see my references in the buyer/seller feedback forum.
