Pseudanthias kashiwae

Farely hardy anthias, but not overly spectacularly colored compared to other anthias.

Yes I belive P. kashiwae is valid sp. now. Fishbase is down but everywhere lists them as such - apparently they are a seperate sp. from a similar looking Anthias that lives in the Red Sea
 
Yes- from fishbase:

Katayama (1960) regarded Leptanthias kashiwae as a synonym of Pseudanthias taeniatus; however, Randall and McCosker (1982) reported that Anthias taeniatus appears to be a Red Sea endemic.

There isn't much to be found anywhere regarding this species and that's how I found this old thread. :)
