pump replacement for Turboflotor 1000

I got an used Turboflotor 1000 that comes with a RIO 2100. It is the most noisy equipment right now.

1) Is there a mod that can quiet this sucker?
2) What is a good replacement pump that is compatible with the Turboflotor's needle wheel? It must be quiet as my aquarium is making enough noise already .
