not too sure. one things for sure. you'll find your answer soon as they do. i have alot of monti's that do touch each other with no harm done. but not of different species, if i spelt that right.
put them close if you like with just a bit touching the other, if one looks to die back a little seperate them and leave alone for a while. for me i found monti's are pretty hardy and recover from most mistakes!
