I've seen a couple. Another guy on here has one. It's a pretty nice clam. On the worth, I have no idea.

I talked to Barry from Clams Direct at my club meeting and he said they're not rare and neither are the blue one's. Barry said there are thousands of them over seas they're just not allowing the into the states yet,but will be soon.

Interesting, maybe if we all holdout we can get them to bring the prices down.

That's what Barry said so hold out.You know when they call it rare people buy into it and pay high prices but I don't.

I visited a clam farm on Bali and the guy told me that they were consistently getting about 10% blue squammies from there broodstock. Nope, not rare by any means. Just hard to get in the US. Europeans and Japanese will pay even more for them than we will, so most go to other places apparently...

Iv'e heard the same Blue Squam over seas story. It dosen't change that they are hard for us to get in the U.S (LOL). They could be lating all over the place in Fiji how does that help us?
As for holding out (LOL) I can't even find one to hold out on.

No just put it in a mcdonalds cup.. I do it all the time, the LFS donsent have enough money for cameras. But make sure the params. in the cup are precise, and a small PH helps to.
