I need to replumb my tank, would you recommend flexible PVC or rigid. Ball valves before and after the pump? Or just between the pump and returns?

I use rigid all the way till i get to the pump. then it's a ball valve/union/flex.

the unions allow for maintainence on the pump and the flex helps kill vibration noise. both before and after the pump.
