Python Question

I use a python to remove and add water for my freshwater tank. Would there be a problem if I used the python to remove saltwater from my reef tank, and still use it to remove/add water into my freshwater tank?

THat should be no problem, I use my python on my chilid tanks for water changes and also remove saltwater for my SW tanks for waterchanges.
