QC Anyone interested in a Dr. F&S order?

Just sent the order thru. The coral will be here friday morning.

I have to give Dr. Fosters and Smith props because I sent the order and went to go get paper to print the confirmation out and got a call from them before I even walked back to the computer!

That and 30 day guarantee isn't bad either.

I'll let Jake post his stuff if he wants to. I got.

"30,000 Leagues" Lokani Acropora Coral - Aquacultured TCN

Blue Mesa Acropora Coral - Aquacultured CCGC 30 Day

Fireside Acropora Coral - Aquacultured CCGC 30 Day

Staghorn Acropora Coral, Australian Delicate - Aquacultured ORA

I wanted that Lokani for a while and it was on sale. If I had more money I would have spent more but there prices are a little more than Allen's:D

Ditto on the Locani, also got a Evergreen Acro, and a Hydro. My tanks parameters are skewed (what's new :eek1: ) so I didn't go hog wild.

I'm just hoping my tank isn't so out of whack that I lose these. I hate when I make $120 mistakes! DOH!

Got the frags settled in. Real happy with Live Aquaria. Over all I think it was the least painfully live animal mail order I've done. You can beat Allen and Bob for price and frags size but these are good sized and happy.

I ordered to get the lokani that frag looks like it will be a really sweet coral.

Dropped the rest of the coral off at Jake's. Nice to meet another QC reefkeeper.

I got to try and find that Mrs. Wages link.

Covey....nice corals...

If you need some mrs. Wages lime they have it at the HyVee by my house, I usually buy 4 or so at a time...

That Australian Delicate is growing on me too it's got the finest thinest coralite structure I've seen. I 'fragged" it acclaimating it. Neat neon green polyps

Thanks Covey for bringing them over! The Evergreen Acro is most likely a goner - my fault. It slipped out of plastic and I hit it with my hand so it was 95% melted within 30 hours. The Locani still hasn't opened, but looks healthy (although not as purple as when I first put it in). At least the Endive Hydno looks awesome and has come out BIG TIME!

I did get Alkalinity test kit per Covey's recommendation, and got a 12.4 DKH reading, so I guess that's OK? (I think you said 9 was where you try to keep yours???)

1.025, PH=8.0, N03=0, Ca=480, 79 degrees +0/-1

And bubble algae all over the friggin place!!!!:o (I probably removed another cup's worth Saturday morning)

By the way Covey, thanks for the Mrs. Wages link.

And in case any of you have wives that like to make Salsa, the Mrs. Wages Salsa canning mix is AWESOME!!! My wife makes about 10 quarts with jalapenos, and 10 quarts without using the Mrs. Wages. We use the jalapenos version for taco's and the non-jalapenos for breakfast salsa...GOOD STUFF!!! (Yes, we're salsa freaks):D
