QT Concept?

I have a 25w UV set up on the return side from my fuge to my tank.

With that in place and running full time (I dont run it full time now) technically could I use my 40 gallon fuge as a QT. Any nasty stuff would be killed by the UV before getting into the display tank.

I wouldn't count on it. Do you know of the flow rate of the UV, and if it is slow enough to kill parasites?

Hmmmm not too sure. Its an Aqua UV 25 watt with a quartz sleve.

For parasites your probably looking at like 200gph. IMO thats a risky way to QT.
