if all i have in my tank is live rock, snails, and hermits. do i have to QT clownfish.

Yes you should still QT your clownfish. What if they are diseased? You would need to treat them and possible with medication. You couldn't do that in a tank with live rock and inverts.

You Q fish to make it easier to treat and see a problem before putting into tank. You cannot treat any SW tank with copper.
